MARCH 2, 1981—SEPTEMBER 19, 2003
BUMPY ROAD ARABIANS is saddened to announce the unexpected loss of their foundation mare due to colic-type illness.

Bred by and purchased from Dean and Ginny Scoggins as a four year old, Tillie became Dee Severson’s first ever Class A show horse. Her career started in Western Pleasure as a junior horse, where she earned numerous placings for her novice rider. Later retrained in Country English Pleasure by Cathy Murphy Wright, Tillie went on to garner Class A, Regional and US National placings.

“Bumpy roads” described the many injuries and mishaps Tillie endured, from foaling twins to bowed tendons; but she always bounced back to give 110 % of whatever was asked of her to get her back in the ribbons.

Later retired as a broodmare and lesson horse at age 11, Tillie's only daughter, Musk's Tanjara. is still producing National-quality halter and performance get. Her sons—Sir Woodford Bask and her newest weanling Whoz Your Daddy—will carry on the tradition in the show ring for many years to come in both Western Pleasure and Country English Pleasure.

Kindness, willingness, beauty, and heart, are just a few of the adjectives that described this incredible mare. She will forever be in our hearts.
