It was something like fate that seemed to bring HJ Lite My Afire to his owners, India and David Hislop of Sierra Dorada Arabians. Their journey in owning and breeding Arabians has led them to exceptional horses and exception breeders over the past few years. One of those breeders was Margit Bentley of Geneva Arabians and it was through her that HJ Lite My Afire was purchased by Sierra Dorada Arabians in 2005. Upon learning he was available for purchase and then viewing his video, they were instantly impressed with his motion, style and classic beauty.

Proving that a stallion can produce pretty and performance, DS Major Afire has produced National, Regional, Scottsdale, Minnesota Fall Festival and Buckeye Champions in halter and performance. His daughters are being utilized in top Arabian breeding programs throughout the U.S. This is an opportunity to breed to one of his most outstanding sons – HJ Lite My Afire.

HJ Lite My Afire has a golden pedigree to go with his extreme beauty. His sire DS Major Afire’s lines bring the extreme athletic ability of Afire Bey V and the beauty of the pure Spanish stallion *An Malik. His dam, Psyduction SSA is a daughter of Padrons Psyche out of Allishah VF – a Bey Shah daughter out of an *Aladdinn daughter who has been exported to South America and is owned by Haras Mayed. HJ Lite My Afire’s tail female line is *Aladdinn and *Bask – is it no accident that this colt has extreme motion in an extremely beautiful and correct body!

Like his sire, we expect him to cross very successfully with the lines of Versace, Echo Magnifico, El Ghazi, Barbary, *Muscat, GG Jabask, Strike and Negatraz – just to name a few.

Sierra Dorada Arabians is fully committed to this colt and have invested much time and energy into his show and training career. He was 2005 Region 16 Reserve Champion Yearling Colt, Region 5 Top 5 Arabian Stallion and most recently 2008 Scottsdale Top Ten 4 Year Old Stallions Open and 2008 Scottsdale Top Ten 4 Year Old Stallions AO. He has several other Champion and Reserve halter titles.

This young stallion trots level and has balanced motion from his hindquarters and front end. He will be a true English Pleasure horse and has already been started under saddle by Joey Canda, who has trained and shown many National winners. HJ Lite My Afire will be returning to training under saddle after the 2008 breeding season. We are very excited to offer this incredible young stallon to the public for the first time.
